Seaside grain export through the port of Zarubino may increase to 200 thousand tons per year

This was announced by the head of the customs post of the port of Zarubino of the Vladivostok customs Edik Tedeev. At the beginning of the year, the first batch of cereals (corn) was sent to Japan through this sea checkpoint - in total more than 2.7 thousand tons. A special feature of the shipment was the delivery of products by grain carriers directly to the place of loading on board the vessel from storage places at the sender's warehouses. Typically, a consignment of goods is accumulated in full at the place of departure at the port.

In the area of Vladivostok customs, transshipment of export agricultural crops is also carried out through the terminals of Vladivostok. So, in 2019, the customs post of the seaport of Vladivostok sent for export more than 11.3 thousand tons of corn, Pervomaisk customs post - almost 114 thousand tons.
